1.Limitation of laser peeling technology.

& Special paint material.

For some enameled wires made of special formulations or high-performance insulating paints, the energy of the laser may not be able to effectively penetrate or remove the paint layer. For example, for some high-temperature resistant paints, chemical resistant paints, etc., the paint layer may have high hardness, melting point or chemical stability, making it difficult for a laser to peel them off in a short time. Some lacquer layers with special optical properties, such as enameled wires that have strong reflection against laser light, will also reduce the effect  of laser peeling. When the laser encounters these highly reflective paint layers, part of the energy will be reflected back, resulting in a reduction in the energy actually acting on the paint layer, thus affecting the paint peeling effect.

& Enameled wire size and shape Enameled wire size and shape.

For very thin enameled wires, it is difficult to control the accuracy of laser peeling. Due to the limited diameter of the laser beam, excessive stripping of the conductor or incomplete stripping of the paint may occur when processing extremely thin enameled wires. For irregularly shaped enameled wires, such as flat enameled wires or special-shaped enameled wires, the uniformity of laser peeling is difficult to ensure. The thickness of the paint layer in different parts may be inconsistent, and the irradiation angle and energy distribution of the laser will also be affected, making it difficult to completely remove the paint layer in some areas.

2.Other factors affecting the laser peeling effect.

& Laser parameter setting.

The selection of laser power, frequency, scanning speed and other parameters is crucial to the paint peeling effect. If the parameters are not set properly, the ideal paint peeling effect may not be achieved. For exmaple, too low power may not penetrate the paint layer, while too high power may damage the conductor. Improper frequency and scanning speed can also lead to uneven or incomplete peeling of paint. Different types of enameled wires require specific parameter adjustments based on their characteristics, which increases the complexity of laser peeling technology.

& Environmental factors.

Factors such as ambient temperature and humidity may affect the paint performance of enameled wires and the effect of laser peeling. In high temperatures and humidity environments, the paint layer may become softer or increase in viscosity, which may make laser peeling difficult. Dust, impurities, etc. in the air may also interfere with laser peeling, affecting the focus and energy transmission of the laser beam. To sum up, although laser peeling technology has many advantages, it cannot guarantee the peeling of all types of enameled wires. In practical applications, it is necessary to comprehensively consider factors such as the specific type, size, and paint layer characteristics of the enameled wire to select an appropriate paint stripping method.
